Events International, pioneering the business of International Concerts and theatre worldwide since the 80’s……

Events International is powered by Vikram Singh who floated the Bombay Music Association in 1983 and pioneered the concept of bringing down Rock and pop bands from U.S. and U.K. to India.

The first band to come down was The Police that played to 2 sold out concerts of 8000 thousands people in Bombay, sponsored by ITC.

The second band in 1984 was Wishbone Ash, it played to 4 sold out concerts of 20,000 in Bombay, Bangalore and Madras, sponsor VST Charms.

Followed with Osibisa, Richard Clayderman, Boney M, Bootleg Beatles, Jethro tull, Bruce Springsteen, Sir Bob Geldof, Uriah Heep. Sponsors in India included ITC, VST, Madhurcoats and BPL. Over the next decade he set up a network of sponsors in India and partners overseas spreading to the Far East, Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat.

In 1992 Vikram Singh and his friend and partner Boney Kapoor decided to take Indian movie star concerts to all parts of the globe as the demand was substantial owing to the growing numbers of NRI’s overseas. From 1992 to 1996 Vikram Singh and Boney Kapoor promoted over 75 concerts featuring Anil Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Amir Khan, Sri Devi, Madhuri Dixit, Laxmikant, Pyarelal and his musicians, assorted singers and comedians like Johnny Lever, Asrani etc.

Moving on to becoming an Executive Producer of several very successful Hindi Films, such as PREM, LOFAR, JUDAI, HAMARA DIL AAPKE PAAS HAI and PUKAR. In 2000 he set out as an independent producer and produced 4 films TERRORIST, 12B, LEYSA-LEYSA and TAKE 2.

For a brief while took a hiatus from promoting concerts and produced three feature films. Now once again, the team is back and we start with OSIBISA on a India tour……stay tuned into our calendar……
