SINGLE MATTA RICE
This is a red rice, short and round variety popularly known as Pallakadan Matta or Kuttanadan rice. This rice is very popular in Southern part of India. It has white belly and highly cherished by the households of Kerala in South India.
ROSE MATTA RICE/DOUBLE BOILED RICE
This is similar variety of rice referred above but has difference in processing. It is subjected to a steam or hot water treatment prior to milling. In this type, the vitamin contents are high and this procedure gelatinize the starch in the grains and results in firmer more separate grains. It also takes a few minutes longer to cook. It preserves Vitamin A and Thiamin.

PAYASAM RICE / RED RAW RICE
This is a variety of red rice, formally processing the paddy to solar drying and polishing the rice. It has a sweet taste used for making Payasam, a unique sweet dessert consumed by the people of Kerala during the holy festivals and functions. This dessert will be one of the favorite dishes of South India.

MATTA BROKEN RICE
This red broken rice is used for making rice soup, a sticky / glutinous nature popularly known as “Rice Kanchi” and this is mainly consumed by the aged and also for the young children. This is highly preferred as one of the diets during the period of sickness and convulsions.
